We look forward to welcoming you to the 2024 Asia Partner meeting which will take place on February 29 - March 2, 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. Please review the important information below about travel and lodging for the meeting.
The meeting will start with a welcome dinner on the evening of Thursday, February 29 and conclude with a final dinner on Friday, March 1.
Hotel information
The firm has rooms contracted at the Sukhothai Bangkok for the nights of February 29 and March 1.
Any additional nights requested will be based on hotel availability and will be charged to you upon check out at the group rate of 10,000 THB/ $282 USD per night. Please do not call the hotel directly. The hotel will not accept reservations outside of our pre-arranged reservation system.
Upon arrival at the hotel, during the check in process you will be asked to put a card on file for incidentals.
Travel
Travel reservations must be made before Friday, January 19 to get the most convenient flights within the allowance. Air travel booked after January 19 is subject to increased fares, and overages above the allowance will be a personal expense.
When booking travel, please be sure to mention the 2024 Asia Partner Meeting.

Tickets and subsequent ticket changes should be paid for with your firm-issued credit card. If you do not have one, please use a personal credit card and seek reimbursement. Your Executive Assistant can help you submit your expenses.
Travel Allowances

Listed in the travel allowances grid are the maximum reimbursable rates by office location. Allowances are based on an average of flights into Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok International Airport). The travel team will use these fares as guidelines when you call to arrange your flights, and will only offer options that meet Reed Smith policies.

Ground Transportation
Ground transportation shuttles will NOT be provided in Bangkok. You will be responsible for getting to/from the Sukhothai Hotel via taxi which will be covered. Sharing taxis is strongly encouraged when traveling with other Reed Smith attendees. Please Note: The taxis will most likely take cash only. Attendees can exchange money before exiting customs at the airport.
How much does a taxi/ ride cost to the hotel? Estimate 500 THB / 25-30 minutes
Reimbursement Policy
Expense reports for travel may be submitted for reimbursement immediately. All other expenses must be submitted by Monday, April 1, through Chrome River. Reimbursable expenses include taxis to/from airports, airport parking in city of origin, baggage fees, and incidental meals en route.
A separate expense report should be submitted following standard operating procedures for any non-event expenses incurred (i.e., client or practice-related meetings). Please direct all expense-related/Chrome River questions to the Chrome River team.
